Torquay Big Wheel

Torquay Big Wheel

At 60 meters high the big wheel recently installed on Torquay sea front is taller than Nelson's Column.

This great new attraction has come to the Torquay straight from the London Olympic Park where it was at the centre of the celebrations next to the Olympic village.

The wheel has 40 enclosed and lit gondolas, weighs in at 365 tons and will be in Torquay until the end of October.

Operated by The Mellors Group, the construction took just 4 days and was open for business in the 3rd week of August.
